The world is getting smaller and so are our families. We've got faster
cars, faster computers, more telephone connections, more email ID's and
still less time to spend with each other.
We are looking for material pleasures and seek pleasure in our
surroundings. We are missing a point, the pleasure is within us.
We rate wealth over courage and comfort over commitment. Assume
that nothing will go wrong, and if something goes wrong we find to blame
it on not having enough advancement of technology to support us through
the difficulties.
We are surprised when people get sick and die. We have
more degrees and less sense. We have more and best medicine but
less wellness. We have added years to our life by technology, but
not life to these years. We have more convenience but less time.
We have more communication but less understanding. We have more
diversions to keep our mind busy. The mind wonders but does
not find what it needs, peace.
When was the last time you took a break, left your office behind, let
your kids forget about school, packed your bags and just decided to
spend some "quality time" .
Manali literally means the 'Home of Manu', the mythological character
that survived when the world was drowned in a flood. Spectacular views
of snowcapped peaks and wooded slopes, grassy meadows carpeted with wild
flowers make Manali the perfect retreat for a family holiday.
Manali at an altitude of 1,829 meters, surrounded by towering peaks, is
far removed from the hubbub of everyday life. Its proximity to the
snowline, the breathtaking landscape, the meandering Beas river, dappled
orchards and fairy-tale forests of deodar make
Manali an inspirational holiday for you and your loved ones.
Meditation in one sense is divert your mind away from what our sensory
organs see to what is within us. The calmness is within us,
seek it and preserve it, get wellness in life.
You are welcome to learn yoga and meditation, practice it, progress and
flower into a healthier, happier human being, spreading waves of peace,
harmony, and prosperity.
