Golden Jubliee Celebration of Sindhi Seva Samiti 

The inaugural program for the Golden Jubliee Celebration of Sindhi Seva Samiti and Silver Jubliee Celebration of Sindhi High School K K Road was held recently. The program included a walkathon and a campaign lane discipline awareness. Sri Sudhanshu Maharaj of Vishwa Jagruti Trust, the chief guest for the Walkathon inaugurated the program.

The inaugural function for the walkathon was attended by the likes of B N Srikantiah, Brijesh Patel, Prakash Belawadi, Gururaj Karjagi, Veena Bhatt, Nandini Alva to name a few. Street plays were staged highlighting the importance of eyes and eye donation. Chakshu, the eye donation mascot, was a major attraction and epitomised the mission statement ‘Our Mission your Vision’. About 150 students took up positions in 14 junctions, regulated the traffic and guided the road users to observe lane discipline for the smooth movement of vehicles. Students also carried banners with slogans related to lane discipline.

Palak & Palash sing for children with heart & kidney ailments
Vishwa Jagriti Mission Trust, Pune is organising a charity musical show, “Dil Se … Dil Tak”, of India’s well-known multi-talented, sister-brother duo, Palak & Palash Mucchal. They will be performing in Pune for the 1st time.

Spiritual guru and founder of the Vishwa Jagriti Mission, Acharya Sudhanshu Maharaj, delivered a discourse at Pune.


Pratibhatai Pawar Hospital Pratibhatai Pawar Hospital at Punya Dham Ashram of the Vishwa Jagriti Mission Trust, Pune. The trust manages the hospital. The medical facility, originally established by the Vasanthdada Patil Pratishthan became defunct within a few years of its functioning and the hospital was lying locked up for the last two years. Shri Jalindhar Kamthe, former chairman of the Zilla Parishad and President of Vasanthdada Patil Pratishthan then officially approached Mata Krishna Kashyap, chairperson of Vishwa Jagriti Mission Trust, Pune, to take over the running of the medical facility. The proposal was accepted and the charge of the hospital was handed over to the Ashram along with the blessings of Param Pujya Acharya, Shri Sudhanshuji Maharaj. Punya Dham Ashram would manage the facility along with the other medical facilities established by VJMT, Pune. The existing building of the hospital would be made over to VJMT, Pune free of charge for the purpose and duration of its functioning. The facility has a reception room, a doctor's room and a treatment room. The staff consists of one qualified doctor, one qualified nurse and one helper to keep the clinic clean and run errands.
